Following the release of Godzilla: Resurgence, it looks as if Toho is developing a Godzilla Anime project.
Anime News Network points out that Toho has registered the domain godzilla-anime.com, which currently only lists three domains related to the site (godzilla-anime.com, www.godzilla-anime.com, www1.godzilla-anime.com).
No further news or confirmation in regards to a Godzilla Anime project have come from Toho as of yet.
Godzilla did just recently appear in anime form last month (see below) in a crossover with Crayon Shin-chan, and there have been a couple of different American Godzilla cartoons.
Regarding the recent live-action Godzilla: Resurgence Japanese movie, Funimation recently announced they will be releasing it in the U.S. later this year.
