Godzilla 2014 Shows Off Akira Takarada In New Set Image

Godzilla is currently being filmed in Vancouver where Gareth Edwards has previously released a short video introduction, and now we see the director is back this time with Akira Takarada.

Akira Takarada is known for acting in the classic Godzilla films including the 1954 original where the Japanese actor was cast as navy diver Hideto Ogata.

Akira Takarada would go on to star in many more Godzilla movies including Mothra vs. Godzilla and was featured in the 2004 movie, Godzilla: Final Wars.

More than likely we can guess that Akira Takarada will have a featured role in the new Godzilla movie as well.

Godzilla opens May 16, 2014 in 3D starring Aaron Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston.
