First Look At Ant-Man and the Wasp Villain, Ghost

A new set image out of Atlanta for Ant-Man and the Wasp offers a first look at the film’s villain, Ghost, a new character being introduced to the MCU from the Marvel comics.

Ghost is being played by Hannah John-Kamen, and the set pic below reveals her in a grey suit.

In the comics, Ghost is all about anarchy and attacks big corporations using hacking skills and phasing abilities. Ghost is also, at times, a hired gun, but will go after corporations on his (her in the MCU) own.

Ghost’s powers come from an advanced bodysuit that enables Ghost to become either invisible or even intangible at will. Ghost can also fire concussive blasts or bursts of electricity and has an arsenal of bombs and grenades.

So we see in Ant-Man and the Wasp, and the below set pic, that Ghost’s suit will be going up against Ant-Man’s own suit (and Wasp). On one hand, we have an invisible and intangible suit, and on the other–a suit that can shrink or grow. Who wins?

Ant-Man and the Wasp opens July 6, 2018 directed by Peyton Reed starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Michael Peña as Luis, Laurence Fishburne as Doctor Bill Foster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Randall Park as Sgent Jimmy Woo, Judy Greer as Maggie Lange and Walter Goggins as Sonny Burch.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: Ant-Man and The Wasp. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
