First Fantastic Four Set Images Unleashed, Comic-Con Footage

Marvel Studios and director Matt Shakman are now filming Fantastic Four, with the first set images and video hitting the net.

As revealed at Comic-Con, the official title is The Fantastic Four: First Steps and the FF are also confirmed to be a part of both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, which will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

Marvel also teased Galactus at Comic-Con in Hall H, and they showed off that cool drone display which launched from Petco Park, the home of the San Diego Padres.

Poster art popping up around the SDCC also teases more of the 1960s world the Fantastic Four are said to inhabit. I’m told they are from a world in the Multiverse where it’s the 1960s and that the movie possibly opens with a death of a major character.

“More than just the visual aesthetics, the ‘60s to me is all about optimism,” Shakman said at the SDCC. “It’s about looking to the stars and dreaming about traveling into space. It’s about how with the right heart and the right mind, you can do anything — which is what the Fantastic Four is all about.”

Regarding the set pics, apparently fans flew a drone over the Fantastic Four set in London and captured the following images and video.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps gets released on July 25, 2025. The film stars Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as The Human Torch Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, The Thing. Ralph Ineson plays Galactus.
