It’s pretty much a given that Captain America 3 won’t win in an all-out battle against Batman Vs. Superman on May 6, 2016.
Even though Marvel Studios had the release date first and Captain America 2 was a better movie than Man of Steel, the fact that there is a new Batman along with Wonder Woman, and that this will be the first time all three will be featured together on the big screen will put Batman Vs. Superman on top.
Unless The Force is involved.
Some Tweets by a reporter from Variety reveal interesting nuggets of information in that Disney Chairman Alan Horn says they are unsure about the May 6th release date for Captain America 3, that the script for Star Wars still needs a look over, and that they are thinking of moving their Star Wars release dates back to the original May premieres.

Presently, Star Wars: Episode VII has a December 2015 release. Is Disney thinking of moving it to a May 2016 release? Possibly moving Captain America 3 to an April 2016 release, as Captain America 2 has seen a blockbuster month this year thus far?
Why Warner Bros. decided to go with the exact same release date as a Marvel Studios movie for Batman Vs. Superman is anybody’s guess (but you only get one), but what if in answer to that, Disney either moves Star Wars: Episode VII (or a spinoff) to May 6th? Or quite possibly they could position Batman Vs. Superman between the two, which would sandwich in the Warner Bros. movie between two huge Disney blockbusters.
If the new Star Wars opened up against Batman Vs. Superman, which would you see first? Let us know in the comments below.
