New rumors surround the Deadpool 2 movie.
It’s being said that a villain has been cut from Deadpool 2 with actor Jack Kesy’s role in the movie, thought to be Black Tom Cassidy.
According to the rumor, Black Tom Cassidy was cut to make more room for Josh Brolin’s Cable and Zazie Beetz’s Domino.
“Jack Kesy, who’s gonna be the villain in Deadpool 2… I heard he got cut from the movie. Breaking news. So check that one out, guys,” Jeff Sneider of The Tracking Board said. “But yeah, I don’t know if we’re gonna be seeing Jack Kesy in Deadpool 2. We’ll see. I haven’t seen the movie, I haven’t talked to anyone who has seen the movie, but I’ve heard, someone chimed in after that poll, and they were like ‘I don’t know if he’s still in it.’”
The villain hasn’t appeared in any of the trailers, so the role might not have been a major one to begin with, and we might not even miss him. It could be a good thing as it might mean the movie isn’t littered with too many characters.
In the comics, Black Tom Cassidy is a mutant whose power includes using wood for Bio-Organic Thermokinetic Blasts, and he has also been the partner in crime with the Juggernaut.

Deadpool 2 has a May 18, 2018 release directed by John Wick‘s David Leitch also starring Josh Brolin as the time travelling mutant Cable, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus and Shioli Kutsuna in a mystery role.
Deadpool 2 is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick with Ryan Reynolds also on board as producer along with Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.
