Good news for Deadpool fans as it’s being reported again that the sequel is really good.
Following what now looks to be a biased and erroneous grouping of tweets claiming Deadpool 2 test screenings turned out poor, now it’s known the opposite occurred (imagine that?).
THR reports Deadpool 2 test-screened through the roof.
The report also verifies what I also claimed was happening, that Fox test-screened a version of Deadpool 2 prior to the reshoots, which were still said to have received a high score.
The first Deadpool 2 test screening came in at a 91, with the second receiving a 97.
Fox then test screened Deadpool 2 a third time with two different cuts to audiences in Dallas, which scored a 98 and a 94.
The version of Deadpool 2 that received a 98 is said to be the version the studio and Ryan Reynolds are going with.
For a comparison, the first Deadpool movie received only a 91, so that is a world of difference from the sequel.
I actually wouldn’t doubt if Disney was behind the series of tweets (lol) as they probably fear Deadpool 2 and had Marvel Studios move the release date for Avengers: Infinity War further away from Deadpool 2, which is now threatening Disney’s Han Solo movie (just as Dwayne Johnson’s Jumanji crushed Star Wars: The Last Jedi week-to-week at the box office).
A further tidbit about the Deadpool 2 reshoots is that a secret cameo was recently added (Wolverine?).

Deadpool 2 has a May 18, 2018 release directed by John Wick‘s David Leitch also starring Josh Brolin as the time travelling mutant Cable, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapicic as ;Colossus with Shioli Kutsuna in a mystery role and Jack Kesy rumored as Black Tom Cassidy.
Deadpool 2 is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick with Ryan Reynolds also on board as producer along with Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.
