Deadpool 2 Said To Be A Big Mess

Deadpool 2 Said To Be A Big Mess

It’s being reported that Fox Studios test-screened Deadpool 2, and that the movie isn’t good.

A user on Twitter was relayed information from an audience member who attended the screening and took to Twitter to tweet about the Deadpool 2 reaction.

The series of tweets actually got the notice of Fox Studios who demanded Jeremy Conrad take down the Twitter posts.

“Fox screened Deadpool 2 tonight (not Dark Phoenix again) and
yikes! First reaction wasn’t what I expected to hear,” Conrad said.

Conrad continued with mention of what he heard was bad about Deadpool 2.

“About a half hour longer than the first movie. No plot for a good chunk of it. Vanessa is wasted. Credit scenes are the best part of the whole thing,” he said.

Conrad was then asked by another Twitter user, “But how can they have Cable and Domino but no plot?” and he responded with an animated GIF of Deadpool from IGN, a site he used to write for.

Conrad was asked again if Deadpool 2 is any good, which saw him reply, “Nooooo.”

Another Twitter user remarked that, “Oh! I thought they had so much faith in it!”

Conrad responded with: “They don’t test two months from release if they did.”

Jeremy Conrad claims he didn’t attend the event, and that he received the tip from an anonymous source, but his series of tweets (especially  “Nooooo”) seems to indicate he knows the source rather well and trusts the source’s opinions, otherwise why would he be so adamant that Deadpool 2 isn’t any good?

Conrad even retweeted an anti-Ryan Reynolds article from another site, as Deadpool director Tim Miller was let go reportedly over creative differences with Ryan Reynolds.

Regardless what is actually going on, following the first Deadpool movie and Logan, there are a lot of high hopes for Deadpool 2, and a new franchise even is riding on its success with Josh Brolin’s Cable in X-Force and subsequent Deadpool and X-Men movies.

Update: Deadpool 2 test screening said to be excellent.
