The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Filming Begins In Los Angeles Today With Flood Scene

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises recently finished up shooting in Pittsburgh, PA, and now they have moved on to Los Angeles.

A local sent in the following pics and info to SuperHeroHype.com.

Looks like they are filming a flood scene with all kinds of explosions!

“The Dark Night Rises is being filmed at El Camino College between Redondo Beach Blvd. and Manhattan Beach Blvd. Torrance/Lawndale, CA. (starting Aug. 26)
I live across the street from the set and got the Notice of Filming on my door under the Film Name: Magnus Rex.”

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christan Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra’s al Ghul.
