‘The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin’ Drops New Trailer and Poster

Daily Wire has dropped a new trailer and poster for The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin, a seven-part epic series premiering January 22, 2026, exclusively on DailyWire+.

The project adapts Stephen R. Lawhead’s multi-award-winning novels that reimagine the Arthurian legend in the aftermath of Rome’s fall, as faith begins to take root amid chaos and invasion.

Series Overview

The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin takes place in a Britain struggling for survival. As barbarian forces threaten the island, the story follows Merlin’s rise and the clash between spiritual conviction and darkness.

The series is created by Jeremy Boreing, co-founder of Daily Wire, who also directed episodes with Jesse V. Johnson and Ryan Whitaker.

Executive producers include Boreing, Caleb Robinson, Ben Shapiro, Dallas Sonnier, Daniel Kresmery, and Ryan Whitaker. Producers include Travis Mills, Jonathan Hay, Amanda Presmyk, Jonathan Halperyn, Jerilyn Esquibel, Augusto Pelliccia, Julius Nasso, and Stephen Lawhead

Cast and Release Details

The series stars Tom Sharp as Merlin, joined by Rose Reid, James Arden, Finney Cassidy, Myles Clohessy, Brett Cooper, Alex Laurence Phillips, Daniel Fathers, and Emree Franklin. Supporting cast members include Steve Varnom, Alex Arco, George Osborne, Flo Thompstone, Chick Allan, and more.

The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin premieres January 22, 2026, with new episodes released Thursdays. All Access members can watch Episodes 1 and 2 starting December 25, 2025.
