Following the news that Batman Vs. Superman passed the half a billion mark, now it’s learned Dawn of Justice has passed $200 million in the U.S.
Similar to Monday and Tuesday, Batman Vs. Superman now also holds the best performing box office numbers for a comic book movie on a Wednesday in March.
Last year saw Furious 7 pass the 200 million mark in eight days, Batman Vs. Superman did it in just six.
It’s projected this weekend will see Batman Vs. Superman remain at #1 and bring in close to another $70 million.
It’s also learned that Batman Vs. Superman is seeing repeat business at about 30% more than a typical blockbuster, and the movie still remains the top-selling advance ticket sales at Fandango.
