Has a death involving a major character in Batman Vs. Superman been revealed?

According to Bad a– Digest, the Batman Vs. Superman script contains a memorial plaque –  for Jim Gordon!

Could that be the reason why Jim Gordon hasn’t been cast in the movie?

The report also states Ben Affleck’s Batman has been operating in Gotham City for the past 17 years, with it speculated Warner Bros. could feature flashback movies surrounding Gordon’s death as well as past Batman adventures.

Batman Vs. Superman is already known to feature a couple of graveyard scenes as well as a major funeral scene; however, this new information would mark at last the fourth death theme in the movie.

Jim Gordon is a major character in the Batman mythos, would Zack Snyder really kill him off?

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
