The latest rumor for Batman Vs. Superman? It’s stating Wonder Woman and Aquaman are cousins.
Zack Snyder has been filming scenes in New Mexico for Batman Vs. Superman, thought be Wonder Woman’s home of Themyscira.
According to an Instagram user, someone said to have access to the set is stating a scene may feature Wonder Woman and her family arguing with their cousin, Aquaman, over what happened on Earth with the invasion of Zod and the Kryptonians. It’s said they are feuding over whether or not Wonder Woman and her family are able to maintain control, peace and authority from threats from other realms. It’s said Aquaman and his family are arguing to take the lead in future situations that may occur.
It’s also said Zeus and Poseidon are involved as Zeus is on the side of Wonder Woman. The rumor also mentions Aquaman being the heir to the throne of Atlantis from Poseidon.
It’s possible this could be the Jason Momoa cameo in the movie.
Interestingly enough, Charles Roven, producer on Batman Vs. Superman, did recently state Wonder Woman is a demigod and Zeus is her father. Perhaps Zack Snyder is doing a similar origin for Aquaman, in that his father is Poseidon as well.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
