Will we ever get a Spider-Man and The Avengers movie crossover?

Last we heard was a pair of producers seemed to hint that such a crossover could happen, and at the same time state it’s not happening.

Now speaking with Yahoo in the following video, the cast of Amazing Spider-Man 2, including Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx would like it to happen with director Marc Webb supporting it as well.

“I think everyone would love to see that,” Garfield said.

Likewise, co-star of the Amazing Spider-Man movies, Emma Stone, agrees.

“I think that would be amazing,” she said. “Yeah, I think that would be incredible. I think it could work in the realms of movie-land, I don’t know if it could work in the realms of business-land. You would have to ask the people at Marvel and Sony.”

“I would love that,” stated Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb. “Just as a fan, I think that would be great. I don’t know how that will happen, but I certainly would be supportive of it. I don’t know how much power or control I have over that.  I think there were efforts made, but nothing came to fruition.”

“I think it would be such fun, really good fun,” Garfield added.

The “Amazing Spider-Man 2” swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Colm Feore, and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn.
