Yesterday during WB’s big Hall H presentation for Justice League and Aquaman one person was noticeably missing!
Superman Henry Cavill!
WB also released a new Justice League Comic-Con trailer which didn’t feature Superman or Henry Cavill, but seemed to tease his return.
Henry Cavill also happened to notice his absence as he took to social media to make light of the situation!
The end of the Justice League trailer features “ALL IN”–but it can’t be all in without Superman!
Henry Cavill posted the Justice League Comic-Con trailer on Instagram adding, “All in! Well, almost.”
Aquaman Jason Momoa commented underneath with, “Missed you today, brother.”
With Henry Cavill responding, “Missed you guys, too! You guys should do something about that!” and added a wink.
As we saw in the Justice League Comic-Con trailer, the League is going to need a lot of help as Steppenwolf and the Parademons attack Earth to retrieve the three Mother Boxes. Maybe Superman will make his triumphant return with Green Lantern!
Comic-Con also saw Wonder Woman Gal Gadot add that Superman fans will be very happy with Justice League!
“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.
Synopsis:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
