Deadpool Red-Band Trailer #2
Will too much of a good thing spoil things?
Well, that’s potentially what may be the thought behind the Deadpool movie as the run-time for the film has possibly been revealed.
Fox Studios’ Spanish website for Deadpool lists the movie at 106 minutes in length, which is 1 hour and 46 minutes long.
While the run-time may seem a lot shorter than other comic book movies, judging by the Deadpool trailers, the 1 hour and 46 minutes will probably be a fast-paced action extravaganza.
For comparison: The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is 2 hours and 21 minutes; Star Wars: The Force Awakens is 2 hours and 16 minutes; The Wolverine is 2 hours and 16 minutes; X-Men: Days Of Future Past is 2 hours and 38 minutes, and Fantastic Four is 1 hour and 47 minutes.
“Deadpool” has a February 12, 2016 release directed by Tim Miller starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, TJ Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax.
Synopsis:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
