Guardians of the Galaxy 3: Adam Warlock Revealed To Be Something Of A Bad Guy

A new look is revealed of Will Poulter as Adam Warlock in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy 3.

The pic comes from the latest issue of Empire Magazine where it’s revealed Warlock is not exactly a good guy, which is something the new trailer teased.

“It’s kind of more complicated than that,” Gunn filled in Empire in regards to questioning if Adam Warlock is here to take down the Guardians. “But he’s definitely not a good guy. What we’re seeing is the infant form of Warlock, newly out of the cocoon, and he does not understand life very well. He’s basically a baby.”

Gunn also touched upon the casting and teases the character’s future in the MCU (which could include Avengers: Secret Wars or maybe the new leader of the Guardians as in the 2008 comics?).

“People online were saying, ‘Oh, Tom Cruise should be Adam Warlock,’” said Gunn, who had other ideas. “I wanted somebody who was youthful, and I wanted the person who had the dramatic chops and the comedic chops, not only for this movie but for what Marvel will use Adam Warlock for in the future. He could become this really important character.”

Rumors offer the flick will feature multiple deaths.

In Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. After acquiring Knowhere from the Collector, we find the Guardians working to repair the extreme damage done by Thanos—determined to make Knowhere a safe haven, not only for themselves, but for all refugees displaced by the harsh universe. It isn’t long before their attempt to return to normal is upended by a brutal attack from a new unknown enemy, and Peter, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 gets released on May 5, 2023 and also stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, with Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, and Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary.
