Charlize Theron Shows Off Clea From ‘Doctor Strange’ 2 Post-Credit Scene

Check out a first official look at Charlize Theron as Clea from the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness post-credit scene.

Clea shows up to make Doctor Strange answer for causing an incursion in the Multiverse but isn’t aware that either Strange has been corrupted by the Darkhold or that Sinister Strange has seemingly joined with or been absorbed by the MCU Strange as now the good doctor sports the evil third eye.

Admittedly, I didn’t even know what was going on in the post-credit scene as I was like, “Is that Angelina Jolie from Eternals?” Then I was like, “No, that looks more like Charlize Theron (using a Snap Chat filter). Is she Psylocke?” Then it dawned on me that Charlize Theron is actually playing Clea, as in the Marvel comics, they recently killed off Doctor Strange and replaced him with Clea as the new Sorceress Supreme (we’ve never seen that before). Makes sense.

While the look of Clea is true to the comics, I’m not digging it as it’s too goofy (Power Rangers, anyone?) and while the below comic book cover is a ripoff of Doctor Strange, Clea looks a lot better.

In the comics, Clea is the niece of Dormammu and the eventual wife of Doctor Strange and hails from the Dark Dimension, so it’s probably safe to assume that Clea has been sitting on the sidelines watching up until now for some reason.

The end of the film also teased we’ll see more from Doctor Strange, so maybe it’s the Secret Wars movie rumored where, hopefully, we’ll get actual cool Multiverse cameos.

Also, be sure to follow Charlize Theron on Instagram where she complains abortion is being banned instead of guns.
