Deadpool/Batman #1 Debuts LOGO, the Wolverine-Lobo Amalgam

The first issue of Deadpool/Batman is out, and it comes with a surprise: a brand-new Marvel and DC amalgam character. Meet LOGO, a mash-up of Wolverine and Lobo.

LOGO Revealed

LOGO debuts in in the backup stories of Deadpool/Batman #1. The character is exactly what it sounds like: part Wolverine, part Lobo.

He’s described as the last of the “Canucklezians” — leaning into Lobo and Wolverine’s background — while also embracing Lobo’s over-the-top bounty hunter persona.

LOGO rides a skull-covered space bike, sports Wolverine’s claws, and talks like the Main Man himself, calling himself “the biggest, baddest bastich in the fraggin’ universe.”

Why LOGO Matters

The introduction of LOGO marks one of the first new Marvel/DC fusion characters in decades.

Fans of the original 1996 Amalgam Comics will remember similar mashups like Dark Claw (Wolverine + Batman).

LOGO continues that tradition with a brutal, modern twist. The move signals that Marvel and DC are willing to revisit the concept as part of this crossover event, which could mean more hybrid characters on the way.

What’s Next

Deadpool/Batman #1, written by Zeb Wells with art from Greg Capullo, is the first of two major one-shots in the crossover.

DC’s Batman/Deadpool #1 by Grant Morrison and Dan Mora arrives in November.

With LOGO now on the table, fans will be watching closely to see if more character fusions are teased — and if Deadpool and Batman themselves end up facing one.
