David Corenswet Takes To The Skies As Superman In Cleveland Set Pics

Check out the latest Superman set images to come out of Cleveland, Ohio which feature David Corenswet as James Gunn’s Man of Steel taking to the skies.

The actor was spotted in downtown Cleveland as James Gunn continues filming for his second week.

It’s expected additional shooting this week will involve Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl who is confirmed to be in Cleveland.

We’ve also seen Superman set images and video showing off David Corenswet as Clark Kent, suited up with Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and members of the Daily Planet newsroom, as well as a big spoiler scene with Frank Grillo, and a first look at Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.

The suit doesn’t look too bad in these pics. Some of the set images have shown David Corenswet to look rather frumpy, but we don’t know if that is because of the angles or if the suit is supposed to look like that.

I also haven’t liked the look of Gunn and Corenswet’s Clark Kent. I went over this on X, as some DC stans are shilling that it’s the best version of Clark ever because it looks nothing like Superman. I argue you wouldn’t expect to know anyone that is Superman. All the other versions of Clark from other actors look “normal.” The Corenswet Clark looks nothing like normal and looks like he is wearing a wig with serial killer glasses. It would make you wonder why he looks like that.

Again, these are set images we are talking about here so hopefully it looks better on screen.
