More than likely coming soon to Kevin Feige’s joke of an MCU but…
- You have a character that has failed time and time again in the comics.
- You have a Disney+ show that nobody watched.
- You have an MCU movie that nobody watched.
- You have a target audience that didn’t show up.
- You hold the biggest drop ever for a CBM.
- You have a failed video game.
Yet, here we are again, as Marvel Comics is doubling down on the big X-Men retcon of Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel.
Not the same Marvel
The comics aren’t what they used to be, they haven’t been for over a decade. They’ve become infected by Disney’s DEI initiatives and woke agendas which has wiped out decades and decades worth of content from legendary creators. They only exist to “serve as creative fodder for eventual film and animation development.”

Comics no longer serve as an inspiration
So to sync the comics with Feige’s MCU where Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani, is the MCU’s first official mutant, the comics did similar: they killed off Ms. Marvel only to bring her back with a mutant origin.
Now Marvel Comics is going to retcon the X-Men in an even bigger way, and much worse.

X-Men history rewritten (erased)
On Wednesday, Marvel.com announce a new X-Men event that “Rewrites Mutant Milestones.”
So what they are doing is throwing Kamala Khan back in time to all the big X-Men events where she will “always” have been a part of them. So Kamala Khan will always have been a part of the X-Men’s history. She’ll always have been an X-Men.
The all-new all-different Kamala Khan now always a part of the X-Men
“…Takes fans on a mind-bending journey through the X-Men’s greatest events – revealing mysteries long buried and secrets that will define the future of Marvel’s mutants!” states the announcement. “Each of the five one-shots also features a Revelations Back-Up Story by X-Men creators past and present that uncover hidden moments that will alter the X-Men’s future!“
X-Men history will never be the same
The announcement continues: “The past isn’t set in stone. The future is up for grabs. And X-Men history will never be the same!“
Ever since she discovered she was a mutant, Kamala Khan has been balancing her previous life as Ms. Marvel with her role as a leader in the new community – but her conflicted identity has come at a deep personal cost.
Now, pulled into the distant past by an unhinged villain with deep ties to mutant history, Ms. Marvel will witness the iconic birth of the Uncanny X-Men and their first encounter with Krakoa from an all-new, all-different perspective. But when history begins to change… can either Kamala Khan or the X-Men themselves survive the experience? Plus, a REVELATIONS STORY by Al Ewing and Sara Pichelli that introduces the X-Man that never was!

Kamala Khan is at the front and center of the X-Men
“We’re posed to completely wreck and reassemble the history of the X – with our favorite hero Kamala Khan front and center. It’s an honor, a joy, and a huge responsibility,” said the writers. “What comes next will be marvelous.”
We also see Marvel retconned the classic Giant-Size X-Men #1 cover from 1975 and added Kamala.
