I applaud Patty Jenkins and WB’s marketing team for not spoiling really anything about Ares in the Wonder Woman trailers, interviews or clips.

Though I highly suspected, and it was all but given that Ares was in the film, I really didn’t know, which made the movie all the better for me.

I actually think even with Wonder Woman now out in theaters that they still have yet to show an official image of Ares from the film! That’s pretty incredible! I hope it also becomes a trend with WB and other studios in that they don’t need to show three-fourths of the movie online in order to promote it.

We have seen Ares of sorts from Wonder Woman merchandise, and now we get a cool new look through Wonder Woman concept art.

Artist Houston Sharp posted Wonder Woman concept art on ArtStation which includes a cool image of Ares with the other gods. This is actually just one piece of the giant image Houston did of Mt. Olympus and the gods:
