It’s learned the Wonder Girl TV series at The CW that was in development has been canceled and won’t be moving forward at the network.
The word comes from writer Dailyn “La Jefa” Rodriguez on Twitter:
So some sad news. For all of those asking, Wonder Girl is not getting picked up at the CW. I was very proud of the script I wrote. Wish I could’ve shared the world I created, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. Thanks for everyone’s enthusiasm. It meant a lot to me.
Wonder Girl is the Brazilian version of Wonder Woman who was recently introduced as part of DC Comics’ woke “Future State” comic book event.
Wonder Girl would have centered on Yara Flor, a Latina Dreamer who was born of an Amazonian Warrior and a Brazilian River God, who learns that she is Wonder Girl. With her newfound power, she must fight the evil forces that would seek to destroy the world.

Will The CW ever learn?
Maybe The CW is finally learning something as recently saw the Jared Padalecki Walker series have record ratings and the highest ratings for the network in four years.
You would think The CW would try to copy the formula of Walker, and not say, green light Batwoman for Season 3 on Sunday night which no one is watching.
The CW did cancel Supergirl and is now going with the Tyler Hoechlin Superman & Lois which will probably be a super hit for The CW, at least the first couple of episodes, but if Superman turns out to be a woke wonder, expect fans to leave in droves.
