‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Now Filming: Cast Announced

Netflix has announced that Wednesday Season 2 is now in production and revealed the new and returning cast.

The new cast happens to include Christopher Lloyd as a guest star who played Uncle Fester in Addams Family.

Who is the Wednesday Season 2 cast?

Jenna Ortega returns as the titular character along with Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), and Victor Dorobantu (Thing).

Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago) have all become series regulars. Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin) and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester) will also return in guest starring roles. 

Who is new to the cast?

New to the cast includes Steve Buscemi (The Big Lebowski, Boardwalk Empire) as Barry Dort, Billie Piper (Doctor Who, Scoop, I Hate Suzie) as Capri, Evie Templeton (Return to Silent Hill, Lord of Misrule), Owen Painter (Tiny Beautiful Things, The Handmaid’s Tale), and Noah Taylor (Law & Order: Organized Crime, Park Avenue). 

Guest stars for Season 2 include Addams Family actor Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley (Fool Me Once, Absolutely Fabulous) as Grandmama, Thandiwe Newton (Westworld, Crash) as Dr. Fairburn, Frances O’Connor (The Missing, The Twelve), Haley Joel Osment (The Kominsky Method, Somebody I Used to Know), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries, Scream), and Joonas Suotamowill. 

Season 2 films in Ireland; no premiere date has been announced as of yet.
