Watch: Todd McFarlane Compares Spawn Movie To Exorcist

A new Spawn movie is definitely happening as creator Todd McFarlane shared the info with Tiffany Smith of Kevin Smith’s Geeking Out AMC series.

“The simple answer is yes,” McFarlane said. “…Scrub the first movie. It was twenty years ago. It’s going to be a dark R-rated scarey [punches hand] bad ass, sort of scripted, it’s tight, and it’s not a nice polite PG-13 with ray guns and headquarters…”

Todd McFarlane went on to compare the new Spawn movie to The Exorcist where everything in the movie was real except that one thing, the girl. Watch the video below for more from Todd McFarlane talking Spawn.
