‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Logo Unleashed With Teaser

Sony and actor Tom Hardy have unleashed the official Venom: Let There Be Carnage logo, which follows the reveal of the official title and new release date.

Tom Hardy posted a teaser on Instagram of a blood-red “V” where “Let There Be Carnage” appears underneath the Venom logo with loud pounding siren-esque music playing.

The teaser also sports the flick’s new release date of June 25, 2021, formerly held by The Batman.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is directed by Andy Serkis, who is known for his motion-capture work in such films as Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes and Star Wars; Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock and the titular character; Michelle Williams returns as Eddie Brock’s former fiancee, Anne, who also appeared as She-Venom in the first film; Woody Harrelson is playing Cletus Kasady, a serial killer who acquires the spawn of the Venom symbiote and becomes the blood-thirstier Carnage, and Naomie Harris has also joined the cast and will reportedly play the supersonic villain Shriek.
