Turbo Kid 2 Green Lit

Turbo Kid is getting a sequel!

If you haven’t seen it, shame on you! Turbo Kid is a post-apocalyptic super hero-esque lower budget violent and gory movie that sees a comic book fan don the persona of his favorite hero to save his “enthusiastic” friend and fight the tyrannical overlord.

Turbo Kid, released in 2015, stars Munro Chambers as The Kid, Laurence Leboeuf as his friend Apple, and Michael Ironside as the big bad guy, Zeus. You can watch it on Amazon.

JoBlo reports Turbo Kid 2 has been green-lit by RKSS Films, Téléfilm Canada and SODEC.

Details for Turbo Kid 2 are scarce at the moment, but it has been said to be a direct sequel to the first film, and stars Munro Chambers and Laurence Leboeuf have expressed interesting in returning for Turbo Kid 2.
