The Boys Final Season Trailer Is Here

The Boys Final Season Trailer Is Here

Prime Video has released the official trailer for the fifth and final season of The Boys, teasing the beginning of the end for the hit series. The Boys final season premieres April 8, 2026, streaming exclusively on Prime Video.

Release date and episode schedule

Season 5 launches with two episodes on April 8, 2026. After that, Prime Video rolls out one new episode weekly, leading to the series finale on May 20, 2026. The season will be available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

What the trailer reveals about Season 5

The final season looks like Homelander’s full takeover. The world is essentially under his control, shaped by his erratic and egomaniacal rule.

The trailer also shows the team fractured and in serious trouble:

  • Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.”
  • Annie is trying to mount a resistance against an overwhelming Supe force.
  • Kimiko is missing.

Then Butcher resurfaces with the most extreme play yet: a virus that could wipe out every Supe. The trailer frames it as the final chain reaction that forces everyone into one last stand.
