Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans have more to celebrate. After a strong box office run for the 35th anniversary of the original film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze is set to return to theaters in March 2026. Fathom Entertainment, Saga Arts, and Warner Bros. announced the sequel’s re-release following the success of the anniversary engagement.
Box Office Momentum Extends Anniversary Run
The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, which came back to theaters on August 15, has earned $3.3 million in its opening week. That strong showing has made it Fathom’s highest-grossing repertory title of 2025. Due to fan demand, the anniversary event has been extended again, now running through August 28 in select theaters.
Audiences are also getting access to “Turtles Unmasked,” an exclusive featurette with never-before-seen footage, extended scenes, behind-the-scenes material, and commentary from director Steve Barron.
