[[wysiwyg_imageupload:22625:]]

A couple of days ago saw what it appeared to be Earth-2 set pics from the upcoming return of The Flash Season 2, and now more pics hit the net featuring Killer First.

It’s guessed the Barry Allen featured in the pics may be the Earth-2 version or maybe even that our Barry travels there.

Above is an official look at Killer frost released a while back.

The Flash returns January 19th.

“The Flash” airs on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm ET starring Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh and Jesse L. Martin.

Ezra Miller & Charles Roven Talk Differences With Grant Gustin’s Flash

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:22953:]]

Even though the movie and TV universes are separate, Warner Bros. may run into the problem of having two actors play The Flash as the Grant Gustin version is extremely well-liked and popular amongst the fans (something Marvel won’t have a problem with).

Now while on the set of his latest movie, the Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Ezra Miller talks about his version of The Flash with EW.com:

“Well, [first] it’s going to be a movie, I’d like for it to be an exploration of a human being, a multi-dimensional human being, to speak…Wow, I just made such a pun, without meaning to…. I’d like the character to have many dimensions. But really, I’d like him to have the usual dimensions we know and love, and then some extra ones that are part of the amazing consideration of this superhero. I hope to realize him as a person, and I think what’s most exciting for me in superhero mythologies is when we feel the humanity of someone who is heroic — or the heroism of someone who is a flawed, deeply human person.”

Last week also saw Batman producer Charles Roven weigh in on the popularity of The Flash, with Roven confirming there are separate universes. Interestingly enough, Roven states he doesn’t have the answer regarding the popularity of The Flash TV series affecting the movie. Check it out below.

Ezra Miller will be featured as Barry Allen/possibly The Flash next March in Batman Vs. Superman followed by the 2017 Justice League Part 1 film and then the March 3, 2018 Flash standalone movie.

Flash Movie Costume Rumored To Look Like Armor

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:22414:]]

I suppose when you are the fastest man alive nothing can weigh you down because, according to a new rumor, The Flash suit Ezra Miller may be wearing in the movie is described as similar to armor.

According to Den Of Geek, a source filled them in that the movie studio is trying to avoid “any comparison to the well designed and received TV version,” and that they are aiming to create a more “tech-based” suit that is said to look quite different than the Grant Gustin Flash costume.

It’s said the Ezra Miller Flash costume will look more “like armor” with comparisons to The Flash from the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game (see above).

Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen is also described as a “tech geek.”

Speaking of Miller he has some rather large shoes to fill as Gustin’s Flash is pretty popular. Interestingly enough, we do already have seen alternate versions of characters on the TV series, and Miller even stated they exist in parallel universes, so hopefully both can work at the same time (though separate).

Ezra Miller debuts in Batman Vs. Superman next March followed by Justice League and The Flash standalone movie in 2019 directed by Seth Grahame-Smith with a script by Grahame-Smith based on the story from Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Watch: Grant Gustin Talks Landing The Flash Role

Check out a clip above featuring Grant Gustin talking about Season 1 of The Flash.

Gustin, when trying out for the part, said he realized he wasn’t Chris or Liam Hemsworth and was also aware of the look of the character in the comics.

Worth a mention is that Gustin reveals the character breakdown for The Flash in the series said Barry has blond hair.

With Gustin obviously landing the role, it seems the show’s producers decided to simply keep with the dark hair of Gustin.

“It wasn’t something like I was ‘oh, I’m going to book this,” Gustin said. “But it went my way.”

The Flash Season 2 returns Tuesday, October 6th to the CW.

New Hero Coming To The Flash Season 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20656:]]

A report is stating a new hero is coming to The Flash Season 2.

TV Line has it The Flash is casting a “season-long role of a classically handsome, square-jawed hero in his 30s to early 40s, a slightly cynical man ‘with an edge.’ “

It’s noted the casting call lists the character as “John Clark,” which they state is a nod to the DC Comics letterer of the same name and suggest the hero may be a character the letterer has worked on.

One character already hinted at in The Flash that DC Comics letterer John Clark has worked on is Jay Garrick (The Flash season finale featured Jay Garrick’s helmet).

Other potential characters may include Hawkman (especially considering Hawkgirl is a part of the spinoff DC Legends Of Tomorrow); Doctor Fate, Hourman (series has been said to be in development at the CW), and maybe Green Lantern.

TV Line also reported Barry will get a new love interest in Season 2 described as:

…a major recurring role of Wendy, a “spunky, fun and funny” romantic interest

• A cop for the Central City PD, Wendy is described as bright and scientific-minded — more specifically, “Think ‘Felicity Smoak’ from Arrow,”

First Look At Arrow / Flash Spinoff Cast Leaks Online

We have our first look at the cast from the Arrow / Flash superhero team spinoff from what appears to be the final episode of The Flash Season 1.

An Instagram user posted the following image revealing Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold; Brandon Routh as the Atom; Caity Lotz (as maybe a time-resurrected Canary?); Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl; Victor Garber as one-half of Firestorm, Victor Stein; Stephen Amell as Arrow and Grant Gustin as The Flash.

The Instagram user also claims Rip Hunter is present (played by Arthur Darvill), but he’s not seen in the image.

Now for some speculation:

Previous images from the episode revealed Ollie in a new League of Shadows Arrow costume, and now we see Ollie back in costume as well as Caity Lotz is back. We know The Flash can time travel, and there is also the time traveller Rip Hunter. It’s probably not too hard to guess that something might happen regarding time travel to bring the team together. It’s possible Caity Lotz may be plucked from a point in her past, but not necessarily messing with her death, as she may go back to the same point in time, “eventually.” This way would then not cause some sort of time paradox and wouldn’t undermine her Season 3 death, but it would enable the use of the fan-favorite character and actress (another possibility is she could be from a parallel universe).

Marc Guggenheim Talks Vixen Animated Series

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18704:]]

A couple of months ago saw WB announce the new Vixen animated series, which is set in the same universe as Arrow and The Flash.

Now EP Marc Guggenheim sheds some light on the project.

“We’re going to do basically an animated spinoff,” Guggenheim told SciFiNow. “It’s a six-part origin story, but characters from The Flash and Arrow are prominently involved. It’s in the continuity and the world.”

Guggenheim also says Grant Gustin of The Flash and Stephen Amell of Arrow may appear.

“The response has been very favorable,” Guggenheim offered. “I can’t speak for them, but all signs are good.”

It’s also possible that some time down the line Vixen could turn in to a live-action show, which Guggenheim says he is open to.

“If the character resonates with people, that would be wonderful,” said Guggenheim. “I would love to be in a position where CW said to us, ‘Hey, we want a Vixen live-action show.’ We’ll have to see how things play out.”

Vixen is set to debut on the CW’s digital offshoot propery, Seed, in the Fall.
