Batman Vs. Superman: Play Arts -Kai- Batman Revealed

Batman Vs. Superman Trailer #2

Check out images below for the cool Square Enix Play Arts Kai Batman figure for Batman Vs. Superman.

Details:

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice depicts the clash of two iconic heroes in the DC Comics universe. The difference between BATMAN™, as opposed to Superman, who has been heralded as the hope for mankind, is rendered through the roughness of the Batsuit and cape. In addition to the flexible materials used in various parts, rolling joints have been implemented in the upper arms and thighs for a wider range of mobility, allowing for improved poseability.

From recreating the likeness of his face to the texture of his body and suit, there are fine details incorporated within the simplicity, and the paintwork makes the care that was put in to the sculpting shine. Of course, we can’t forget the various signature gadgets that BATMAN carries in his arsenal. This figure exudes the image of a dark hero that stands against the light.

Figure also includes display stand and interchangeable hand parts.

Figure Size: Approx. W 7” x D 5” x H 10”

Release Date: June 13th, 2016

You can pre-order the figure for $149.99.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves.

The latest issue of Total Film magazine interviews Diane Lane in which she comments about being Superman’s mother in Man of Steel as well as returning for Batman Vs. Superman.

Regarding Zack Snyder and Batman vs. Superman:

“I’m endlessly impressed with his imagination. Who gets offered the opportunity to bring such things to the screen for millions of people? That’s tremendous. It’s an honor and a burden and I can’t imagine shouldering that load. He also has a whole bunch of children — he’s a force of nature. He’s got his plate full and likes it that way.”

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE – THE SOUNDTRACK

FEATURES COLLABORATION BETWEEN HANS ZIMMER & JUNKIE XL

AVAILABLE ON CD, DELUXE 2 CD SET,
LIMITED EDITION 3 DISC VINYL DELUXE AND DIGITAL FORMATS

SOUNDTRACK RELEASES MARCH 18

WaterTower Music announced today the March 18 release of the soundtrack to the upcoming feature film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” a collaborative effort by film composers Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenborg). Available digitally, on CD, 2-disc deluxe CD, and on Limited Edition 3-disc deluxe vinyl, the first public sample of the music has been made available, and the album is now available for preorder. The 2-CD deluxe package, the digital deluxe version, and the 3-disc deluxe vinyl set feature over 90 minutes of music, five bonus tracks, an exclusive fold-out poster and liner notes from the composers. Additionally, the vinyl set features etched vinyl art and an album download card.

“Junkie XL is an incredibly insightful film composer. It was a perfect idea for us to work together on the ‘Batman v Superman’ score,” explained Academy-Award-winning composer Zimmer. Grammy nominee Junkie XL showed equal excitement at the pairing, saying, “Hans has an incredible legacy, and I was extremely thrilled when he approached me to work on ‘Batman v Superman’ with him.”

The composers discussed their close working relationship with director Zack Snyder. “Zack allows us to try things we haven’t tried before. He’s very supportive of the eccentricities that we bring to this,” says Zimmer. Junkie XL concurred. “He’s very open and accepting of our ideas, and infuses the creative process with an energy that inspires you.”

“Hans and Tom (Junkie XL) created an incredibly compelling and interesting new musical world for Batman, while continuing to expand on the amazing world and themes Hans had previously created for Superman,” noted director Zack Snyder. “By aligning their vision with my perspective and seeing the characters anew through the lens of the film they were able to support the visual aspects of movie in a way that elevates the film to another level. In so many ways, they become the final texture, the final note in the process of creating the world.”

“This electrifying collaboration brings us such brilliant new character themes,”
commented WaterTower Music head Jason Linn, “While we’ve been fortunate to work several times with both composers individually, this experience has been uniquely thrilling.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released March 18. It is now available for pre-order at iTunes. The Deluxe CD and Deluxe Vinyl versions will soon be available for preorder.

Bizarro Rumored For Batman Vs. Superman

Batman Vs. Superman Trailer #2

Now Bizarro is rumored for Batman Vs. Superman.

The info comes from Latino Review, who are actually pretty confident about Bizarro as they state “Bizarro WILL appear in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice as part of the setup for Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League, Part 1.”

It’s unclear what version of Bizarro it might be, but since we already know Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor is experimenting on Zod’s body, we might see the Bizarro that is the clone of Superman.

It’s also unclear how this form of Bizarro would set up the Justice League movie. Would the League form to fight Bizarro?

What could actually be happening is that the Zod Doomsday is a form of Bizarro. Possibly one leads to the other? We could also speculate then that Doomsday might eventually lead to Brainiac (Krypton connection?).

If the Bizarro Batman Vs. Superman rumor is indeed true, it kind of seems strange they are using Bizarro in an episode of Supergirl. As of late WB movies seem to be putting the kibosh on using shared properties with TV. Guess we’ll find out in March.

Check out Henry Cavill Bizarro fan art:

With the release of the latest Batman Vs. Superman trailer (watch above) came fan uproar as many fans felt too much was revealed, especially with the appearance of Doomsday. The Daily Beast caught up with Zack Snyder to get his thoughts on the iconic Superman villain.

“I know what’s in the movie, so I know there’s other stuff,” Snyder said, which echoes recent statements the director said about the trailer to MTV as well: “I have the benefit of seeing the movie. It’s cool that they think it’s too much and I appreciate people not wanting to know, but there’s plenty that they don’t know. There’s a lot of movie that’s not in the trailer.”

The Daily Beast notes Snyder and Warner Bros. “wrestled with just how much to reveal to fans.”

“We had a long conversation about just taking ownership of that, of giving it to the audience in a controlled way that I felt was consistent with the escalation of the campaign,” Snyder said.

Regarding Doomsday, Snyder teases the character (or perhaps some version?) may be featured in Justice League.

“Well, you have Doomsday, right? He doesn’t just crawl out of the ground. He has his own mythology, right? So that has to be explored…” Snyder offered.

As Batman v Superman is also titled “Dawn of Justice,” Snyder alludes to Doomsday being a bigger part of the picture.

“To us it really made sense to give [Doomsday] to the audience now. I really wanted to make the audience a promise that… though I’m super excited and happy and fulfilled by the conflict of Batman and Superman, there’s also a bigger world to start to think about.”

Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.

Synopsis:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

New Batman Vs. Superman High-Res Images; Snyder, Affleck & Cavill Talk Justice League

Batman Vs. Superman Trailer #2

Check out a batch of high-res images for Batman Vs. Superman below as well as comments from Zack Snyder talking about the characters and Justice League, with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill adding their thoughts on the DC movie universe.

We’ve also recently seen a look at the Jason Momoa Aquaman Halloween costume and two NFL Wild Card playoff spots have been released (here and here).

David Ayer and Ben Affleck also talk Batman in Suicide Squad, with new high-res pics released as well.

Zack Snyder on Justice League:

“I love Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman, but having Flash and Aquaman and Cyborg and to see them all standing together, it’s a pretty dorky and cool experience for me,” says Snyder, who’s introducing some of his new Leaguers in Dawn of Justice.”

“Basically every one of those characters has a logo that you would recognize without them standing there, and that’s a hard thing to achieve in this pop-culture world. We have history to draw on, but we also have these new frontiers to forge.”

Zack Snyder on Batman:

You can see the idea of the innocent being victimized by whatever they are, aliens, he doesn’t know — that’s the thing that really boils his blood, as you can imagine it would,” Snyder says. “Suddenly the innocent children of the world are all of us.”

His caped (and often armored) crusader is “a guy who had been through that experience already for many years and was kind of burnt out and asking himself what the point of it all was and going through an existential crisis.”

Zack Snyder on Wonder Woman:

“She’s a powerful female superhero, which is a thing we haven’t had for a while,” Snyder says. “She’s a piece of IP that basically exists in pop culture in a way where every kid’s got a Wonder Woman T-shirt and they don’t really know why. I want to give the why back to that.”

Henry Cavill on Superman:

“He can sure as hell take Batman out if he wants to, and Batman takes advantage of that,” Cavill says, comparing Superman’s constrained Clark Kent side to a dad playing football with a bunch of children.

“He’s not going to go all-out against the kids because he’ll end up smashing people around. It’s the idea of still wanting to have fun but no one gets hurt, so you’re being careful about where your knees and elbows are going. That’s what Clark is for me, but Superman is far more relaxed. Superman is dad just being dad at home.”

Henry Cavill on the Justice League movie universe:

“There’s a whole world of fantasy in comic books, and if you just focus on one small portion of it, you’re never going to get the full magic of it,” Cavill says. “Now that we’re introducing all these other characters and really building the universe to a far larger place than just a simple alien’s life on Earth, it really makes it extraordinarily interesting.”

Ben Affleck On Batman:

His caped (and often armored) crusader is “a guy who had been through that experience already for many years and was kind of burnt out and asking himself what the point of it all was and going through an existential crisis.”

“Batman is covered up by a suit and sometimes a car and sometimes a lot of vehicles and weapons, whereas Bruce Wayne is much more naked — it’s just you and a suit of clothes,” Affleck says.

“You can’t really play Batman because Batman is different things to different people. We project our own things onto the mythology of what Batman is, and he has to be able to be projected upon. With Bruce Wayne, you have to bring something distinct and new and different.”

Ben Affleck on the Justice League movie universe:

“I’ve been really impressed just as a working stiff to see how they’re doing it.”
