Sydney Sweeney takes to social media to punch back at online trolls for saying bad things about her while she filmed the Christy Martin biopic.
The troll comments look to have originated from articles in the comment section at the Daily Mail, which are claimed to be moderated. I actually wouldnât be surprised if they are bot comments and/or AI-generated.

Sydney Sweeney shows off the big guns
Sweeney put together a collection of the comments and then put them in a video (watch below). She trolled the the trolls by including images from her time training for the role of Christy Martin,  an American former professional boxer. TheDaily Mail article about this video has even more troll comments. One bozo doesnât even know that Sydney Sweeney trained in martial arts and MMA since she was a kid questioning how could she get the role. Other comments say she doesnât have a good body (lol).

What do the comments say?
The trolls comments offer things like âtoo pale and she needs to lose a few pounds around the middle.â Another says, âudderly ridiculous.â Another adds, âWhoever this individual is, she has a horrible body.â Anotherâ âLetâs be real hear, the body is not that incredible, just sayingâŚâ Another: âButterface!â Another says, âNot at all her best look. She is better off leaving herself to peopleâs imaginations.â

âSorry for having greatâŚâ
The trolls also follow recent rude comments from an 80-year-old female Hollywood producer who said Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powellâs hit rom-com Anybody But You is unwatchable. The producer said, âSheâs not pretty, she canât actâ and questioned why people think she is so hot. Sweeney fired back, âSorry for having great t-ts.â
Glen Powell also responded to the trolls on Sweeneyâs video, âYouâre such a badass. This movie is gonna be [fire emoji].â

Christy Martin biopic has wrapped
Two weeks ago, Sydney Sweeney announced filming has wrapped. No release date has been announced as of yet.
David MichĂ´d is the director:
I donât usually write a lot in my captions but this movie and experience I feel needs more than just a few words. We have wrapped filming Christy Martinâs story and it has been one of the most emotional, transformative experiences of my life. Christyâs journey is so deeply inspiring, and having her by my side during this process was nothing short of surreal. There were moments on set where Iâd glance over at her standing by the monitors, cheering us on, and Iâd just become so emotional. Knowing what sheâs endured, what sheâs pushed through to be there in that momentâit made me want to cry.
To the incredible crew in Charlotteâthank you for giving this project your everything. Iâm going to miss you so much!! Your hard work, long hours, and dedication brought this story to life, and we couldnât have done it without you. My castmates, especially Ben, thank you for your talent, your relentlessness, and for inspiring me to dig even deeper every single day. And David, our fearless aussie, thank you for being the steady, passionate leader we all leaned on.
This story is so much bigger than just a film. Itâs a testament to resilience, survival, and finding the strength to keep fighting. I canât wait for you all to see itânot only because Iâm proud of the transformation and the work Iâve poured into it, but because Christyâs story deserves to be told. And yes, youâll get to see me kick some serious ass (like seriously kicked some ass) ((like I mightâve enjoyed it a little toooooo much while kicking ass haha)), but most importantly, youâll witness a story thatâs as powerful as the woman who lived it. Iâll carry this experience with me forever. Canât wait to share more đ
