James Gunn continues casting Superman: Legacy as Skyler Gisondo is playing Jimmy Olsen and Sara Sampaio is Eve Teschmacher.

Skyler Gisondo was actually previously rumored for the role in those batch of leaks. He is known for Santa Clarita Diet, Fairfax, The Resort, and The Righteous Gemstones.
Sara Sampaio is a Portuguese actress and model known for her Victoriaâs Secret work and for various Hollywood projects including episodes of Billions and Sombra.
Whatâs interesting about using Eve Teschmacher is that the character was created by Richard Donner and Mario Puzo and eventually made her way into the comics.
There has been the thought that Gunn will be going closer to the Donner films than the Snyder DCEU, so the use of Eve Teschmacher tends to strengthen that theory. Of course, Sara Sampaioâs portrayal could be completely different.
Zack Snyder also killed off Jimmy Olsen in the DCEU, for some reason, while we see Gunn cast a classic-looking version.
Itâs also thought Gunn is bringing back the classic Superman costume for David Corenswet featuring the red trunks. If you donât happen to like the red trunks, I suggest you head to a Halloween store and get a tight-fitting costume. Youâll realize real fast why Superman wears red trunks (I was Omni-Man last year).
Superman: Legacy has a July 11, 2025 release directed and written by James Gunn. Also starring in the movie includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, and MarĂa Gabriela de FarĂa as Angela Spica/The Engineer, previously described as a member of The Authority and a âvillain.â
Superman: Legacy is described as telling the story of Supermanâs journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas.
