Warner Bros. Games. has released a pair of promo trailers during Thursday’s Sony State of Play event for the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League video game.
The first trailer features a look at four-player co-op gameplay with “No Matter the Cost.”
“Stop The Flash and rescue Lex Luthor in the process. No matter the cost,” teases the video description.
The description adds, “Check out the first official look at 4-player CoOp Gameplay for #SuicideSquadGame in this exclusive Sony State of Play trailer as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark combine their unique traversal abilities, gunplay, melee, tactics, and teamwork to face off against waves of Brainiac’s corrupted soldiers and take down a huge techno-organic artillery gun that has been phased into Metropolis.”
The second trailer features a look behind the scenes with “Out of Arkham Asylum.”
“Meet the Rocksteady development team working on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,’ states the description. “In this exclusive Sony State of Play #BehindTheScenes trailer, check out an official look at the development of #SuicideSquadGame and hear from the #RocksteadyStudios team as they take the Squad out of Arkham Asylum, and into DC’s ‘“’City of Tomorrow,’ Metropolis.”

When does Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League get released?
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available May 26, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC developed by Rocksteady Studios, creators of the critically acclaimed, best-selling Batman: Arkham series.
The game is a new genre-defying third-person action-adventure shooter videogame allowing players to take on the roles of Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn (a.k.a. Dr. Harleen Quinzel), the Clown Princess of Crime; Deadshot (a.k.a. Floyd Lawton), the most dangerous marksman alive; Captain Boomerang (a.k.a. Digger Harkness), Aussie assassin extraordinaire; and King Shark (a.k.a. Nanaue), the demigod humanoid shark and rightful ruler of the seas.
Harley Quinn is voiced by Tara Strong, Deadshot is voiced by Bumper Robinson, Captain Boomerang is voiced by Daniel Lapaine and King Shark is voiced by Nuufolau Joel Seanoa, better known by his All Elite Wrestling (AEW) ring name, Samoa Joe, with Batman voiced by the legendary Kevin Conroy.
The game features an original story set in the DC Universe as the Squad must take on an impossible mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, the Justice League.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a new third-person action-adventure shooter featuring an original, narrative-driven experience that picks up the story five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight so players who are familiar with the Batman: Arkham series will see some related narrative elements pop up in the game.
Players can customize their character’s look with new outfits, gear, weapons and other cosmetic items as they progress through the game, and the game can be enjoyed either solo or with up to four players in online co-op.
