Stranger Things Creators Shoot Down Garbage ‘Ragnarok’ Ending Rumor

Apparently, there has been a rumor going around regarding the end of Stranger Things that would have been a big slap in the face to all the fans who love and have stuck with the show.

It would have been Netflix’s Ragnarok all over again.

According to the rumor, much like Ragnarok, the Stranger Things end would have seen everything in the show not happen. It would have all been made up.

The end of Ragnarok saw the big reveal that everything that happened was in the lead character’s head. Yeah, fk that.

Duffer Brothers react to fan theory

So regarding Stranger Things, the rumor has said The Duffer Brothers were simply going to reveal that what was really going on is that all the main characters have been playing a big, long, and convoluted game of Dungeons and Dragons.

Thankfully, that’s not going to happen and the rumor is false.

“That is correct. That is the ending…. No,” Matt Duffer jokingly told Metro about the fan theory.

Ross Duffer added, “That would be the equivalent of, ‘That’s all a dream.’ No, I assure you that is not how we’re going to end the show. We’ve known where we’ve been going for a while. And we feel comfortable with it; hopefully, it satisfies everyone. We’ll see.”

Stranger Things was filming Season 5 prior to the strikes and will continue production in January. Season 4 ended with the Upside Down exploding into the real world.

David Harbour also confirmed a real ending to Stranger Things.

“The beauty of it is there’s a real ending — things will end in a very real way,” he said.

Oh, and Ragnarok? Fk you!
