Star Wars: FORCE COLLECTION Reveals New Cards Inspired by Star Wars: Rogue One

Celebrating 340 Million Battles Fought in 3rd Year Anniversary

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today that its popular mobile title, Star Wars: Force Collection (SWFC) will introduce the first of its Star Wars: Rogue One inspired cards with the release of Jyn Erso and Director Krennic 5-Star character cards.

KONAMI reveals that in the past year, more than 340 million battles have been fought in SWFC. Based on the statistics of those battles, more than 29 million players (65 percent) have pledged allegiance to the dark side, compared to the 15 million (35 percent) fighting for the light side of the Force. These numbers show a shift in tides compared to 2014’s year one data where 62 percent were light and 38 percent dark.

Despite this shift to the dark side, KONAMI’s data shows the most popular leader cards to be light side heroes Master Yoda and Luke Skywalker. Representing the dark side, Darth Vader comes in fourth place as the most used leader card. The results suggest that players using light side leader cards may be backing them up with a strong dark side cards.

SWFC is a card battle game that takes place in the Star Wars universe. Players take command of more than 400 heroes, villains and vehicles, including Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. Create your own deck of formidable battle formations and face off against rivals throughout the world in real-time Legion battles.

SWFC is available now at the iTunes App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and Google Play for Android devices. For more information, please visit http://www.starwars.com/games-apps/star-wars-force-collection.
