In anticipation of tickets going on sale tomorrow, Sony and Marvel have released a new Spider-Man: No Way Home poster for the extended version of the movie that will be playing in theaters, “The More Fun Stuff Version.”
The poster features all the characters from the movie including Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, who, credit to the marketing of the flick, were absent from the film’s original marketing to keep things a surprise.
Obviously, now the cat – or spiders – are out of the bag as not only do Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire return as Spider-Man, but Willem Dafoe is back as Norman Osborn, Alfred Molina returns as Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx is back as Electro, Rhys Ifans plays the Lizard, and Thomas Haden Church is the Sandman.
Also starring in the movie includes the MCU’s version of Spider-Man played by Tom Holland, Zendaya as MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Benedict Wong as Wong, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, Angourie Rice as Betty Brant, with J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson and Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.
Spider-Man: No Way Home -The More Fun Stuff Version features 11 minutes of new footage, and Jon Watts is the director.
Synopsis: For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.
