Spider-Man: Homecoming Passes $700 Million At Box Office

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming has now passed $700 million at the box office!

Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland and Michael Keaton, Spider-Man: Homecoming currently has a worldwide gross of over $702 million. 

Marvel and Sony came to a mutual deal to let Marvel develop Spider-Man: Homecoming with Sony still involved and distributing the movie.

A sequel for Spider-Man: Homecoming has already been announced with a July 5, 2019 release date, and Tom Holland has hinted there will be at least a complete trilogy for Spider-Man in the MCU.

#4 Spider-Man movie (trails the Sam Raimi movies)

#5 best movie of the past 365 days

#5 best opening for July

#8 best PG-13 movie

For the record, Amazing Spider-Man finished with $757.9 million and Amazing Spider-Man 2 with $708.9 million, but Spider-Man: Homecoming has yet to open in China (September 8).
