The Spider-Man: Homecoming digital version gets released this month and the Blu-Ray in October featuring a bunch of extras including a behind-the-scenes look at Spider-Man saving the day at the Washington Monument. While the movie featured Tom Holland as Peter Parker in his Spidey suit saving his fellow classmates in Washington D.C., Marvel didn’t have access to the actual Washington Monument and had to recreate it at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta.
“We didn’t have to film it sideways,” Tom Holland said. “We didn’t have to turn the camera sideways and see how it looked afterwords. We could see it immediately, and I can see myself and angle myself to make sure I get the best position.”
It’s noted fans can expect more bonus material from the home release of the Spider-Man: Homecoming including deleted scenes, a gag reel, a pop-up factoid track, and seven behind-the-scenes featurettes.
Spider-Man: Homecoming becomes available on digital September 26 and on 4K Ultra HD™/Blu-ray™, Blu-ray 3D™, Blu-ray and DVD October 17th. You can order through Amazon.
