Spider-Man 4 Gets Rumored Title & Plot

Spider-Man 4 Gets Rumored Title & Plot

Spider-Man 4 now gets a rumored title and plot which follows the recent announcement that the film will be released in 2026 and starts filming next year with Tom Holland back in the titular role.

The rumored plot and title ties into the events from the end of No Way Home when Doctor Strange cast the spell to make everyone forget about Peter Parker, including Zendaya’s MJ.

The rumored title also fits with a similar Spider-Man comic book storyline that wiped out the marriage between Peter and MJ.

What is the rumored Spider-Man 4 title?

The rumored title is Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Comic fans will know that is a reference to the story following the “One More Day” storyline that deals with Spider-Man’s marriage to Mary Jane Watson getting erased and everyone forgetting Peter is Spider-Man.

Obviously, the MCU went in a different direction, but how it relates to the following rumored Spider-Man 4 plot is that in the “Brand New Day” comic storyline, Peter stopped being Spider-Man for a while, which may also happen in the MCU.

(A previously rumored Spider-Man 4 title was Spider-Man: King in Black but that appears to have been made up to promote Venom 3 with Knull who is now rumored to be the villain of a Sony Marvel Sinister Six flick not associated with the MCU)

However, peace is short-lived when a deadly new threat emerges, endangering his friends and forcing Peter to reconsider his promise. With stakes higher than ever, Peter reluctantly returns to his Spider-Man identity and finds himself teaming up with an unlikely ally to protect those he loves.”

Rumors have also offered their will be a new/second female lead in Spider-Man 4, which fits with mention of “an unlikely ally’ above; some fans think it’s Black Cat.
