With Spider-Man 4 looking like it will be happening sooner than later, a new rumor offers that Black Cat will be featured in the film.
While the fourth Spidey film doesnât have a release date as of yet, recently has seen Tom Holland talking up the movie revealing he is involved early on in the development process.
Previous rumors have said Kevin Feige is deciding whether or not to make Spider-Man 4 another Multiverse movie or go the street-level route, with the Black Cat rumor fitting with the latter approach.

What does the rumor say?
The rumor comes via the MyTimeToShineHello Twitter account who also says James Wan is in the running to direct the movie.
The account says Black Cat will appear in Spider-Man 4.

Who is Black Cat?
Sony owns the film rights to Spider-Man and with that Black Cat and was at one time going to do a Black Cat and Silver Sable project; however, the project never happened.
In the comics, Black Cat is Felicia Hardy, a cat burglar who is at times Spideyâs enemy and at times his ally.
Marvel.com offers: âGrowing up as the daughter of world-famous cat burglar Walter Hardy, Felicia learns confidence from her father and to seize life by the horns. In college, Feliciaâs assaulted by her college boyfriend Ryan, so she trains in martial arts and acrobatics to kill her rapist.â

âWe have a legacy to protect,â says Tom Holland
Spider-Man 4 doesnât have a release date or a director as of yet.
Tom Holland recently said he wants to get the flick right.
âWe have the best in the business working toward whatever the story might be. But until weâve cracked it, we have a legacy to protect,â he said last month. âThe third movie was so special in so many ways that we need to make sure we do the right thing.â
Holland added, âThis is the first time in this process that Iâve been part of the creative so early. Itâs just a process where Iâm watching and learning. Itâs just a really fun stage for me. Like I said, everyone wants it to happen. But we want to make sure weâre not overdoing the same things.â
