Shazam Trailer Said To Be Awesome; Better Than Aquaman

Warner Bros. showed off footage from both Aquaman and Shazam! at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.

Zachary Levi also showed off a new look at the Shazam! costume.

While WB has previously shown off Aquaman footage, the footage at the Licensing Expo was different than what was recently shown at CinemaCon and included an “epic” look at Black Manta, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. But possibly more interesting than Aquaman was the Shazam! trailer teaser, which is said by one Twitter user to be even better and more exciting.

“Aquaman footage was new and not the same footage from CinemaCon. Black Manta looks epic. Being 100% honest the Shazam teaser had me more excited than Aquaman. Pretty extended footage,” Daniel Eliesen tweeted.

Eliesen also confirmed Mark Strong was featured as Sivana and added about the Shazam! trailer teaser: “Was kind of blown away with what was shown.”

Warner Bros. hasn’t released any of the footage online as of yet, and it is currently thought both the Aquaman trailer and Shazam! trailer will be released this Summer at Comic-Con.

Aquaman has a December 21, 2018 release starring Jason Momoa.

Shazam! hits April 5, 2019.
