That would include Levi, who has been vocal about his conservative views and confirmed in a new interview with Variety that he voted for Donald Trump. Levi responded to Zegler’s comments but withheld from firing back:

“I am one of those people, obviously,” Levi said. “But I think that we have got to recognize that a lot of times people’s decisions are predicated upon the bad information that they’re being fed on a regular basis. So should I hate her because she’s downstream of all of these voices that are telling her that he’s Hitler and the people who vote for him are Nazis?”

Levi also took the high road, and while Levi didn’t deny the political divide between them, he made it clear he still respects Zegler’s talent:

“She’s a really talented girl, and I do think that she wants the best for the world deep down.”

Zegler’s Snow White Bomb

Zegler’s anti-Trump comments came months before the release of Disney’s Snow White, which is now known to have massively bombed at the box office. Disney even named it a failure in its recent investor report, along with Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World.

Zegler eventually walked back her comments and issued an apology, but the sincerity of her words can be called into question. A Disney producer who blamed her for Snow White‘s failure revealed that his own father had to fly out and speak with Zegler about her controversial social media posts, which included pro-Palestinian messages shared during the film’s promotional campaign.
