Preproduction looks to have started on the DCEU Shazam movie as director David F. Sandberg took Instagram to announce he has started work on the project.
David F. Sandberg took to Instagram to post, “Day 1,” which includes an image of a can of Coca-Cola; perhaps Sandberg needs the caffeine for a little Shazam! kick?
With preproduction apparently having started on Shazam, it’s possible casting for the movie could be announced soon.
Current fan-favorites to play Shazam include Alan Ritchson and even John Cena. Dwayne Johnson plays Black Adam who will not be a part of this Shazam film.
Shazam has an April 5, 2019 release.
