Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for Scream 6 and teases “this is unlike any other Ghostface.”
Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy Meeks-Martin”), Mason Gooding (“Chad Meeks-Martin”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”), Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”) and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.
A poster has also been released with the official film social media accounts also teasing, “I’m something different.”
Mason Gooding who plays Chad Meeks-Martin also teased, “Just wanna point out Jenna and Devyn the only ones looking directly at us in the poster… then Hayden with the absolute boldest power stance you’ve ever seen.. lots to consider #ScreamVI.”
Scream 6 is gets released in theaters on March 10, 2023 directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
The first Scream was released in 1996 with the franchising bringing in over $740 million worldwide. The first four flicks were directed by Wes Craven, with Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett also having directed the previous movie which made over $137 million when it was released in January of 2022. Guy Busick & James Vanderbilt also wrote Scream 5 and 6.
