While Batman and The Flash stall, WB is moving full steam ahead on Aquaman.
Earlier today saw word that Black Manta has been cast, and now it's reported Nicole Kidman is in talks for a role in Aquaman.
THR reports Nicole Kidman is in early talks to play Aquaman's mother, Atlanna.
It's said Nicole Kidman has been director James Wan's choice for weeks, and the report note it's optimisitc Kidman will accept the role.
In the comics, Atlanna is a member of Atlantean royalty who makes her way out to the world of men and has a baby with lighthouse keeper Tom Curry, with the baby being Aquaman.
Aquaman looks to begin filming this April in Australia for its October 5, 2018 release starring Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Wilem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Patrick Wilson as Orb, the Ocean Master.
Jason Momoa will next be seen this November in Zack Snyder's Justice League.
