Aquaman has found its Black Manta.
Warner Bros. and James Wan have cast Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the Aquaman bad guy.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is known for Netflix’s The Get Down and is featured in Dwayne Johnson's Baywatch.
Aquaman starts filming April in Australia for its October 5, 2018 release.
Starring in Aquaman includes Jason Momoa as the titular character, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Patrick Wilson as Orm, the Ocean Master.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was also at one time up to plan Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars Han Solo movie.
