New Joker footage has leaked online from a phone both scene offering up a different look for Joaquin Phoenix.
The footage reveals Joaquin Phoenix wearing a different clown mask and suit, with the first Joker makeup shown a bit cleaner than previous versions under the mask.
It’s possible my theory of Arthur Flex getting a job as a clown with the Amusement Mile carnival may have some merit.
Regarding the footage, it appears Joker gets some bad news (maybe a death in the family?).
Previous footage showed Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker having an arguement with another clown, and another scene involved a riot at a subway. We’ve also got a peek at the Gotham City Police.
Update: Director Todd Phillips shared a new image noting, “Work.”

The Joker origin movie centers around the iconic arch nemesis of Batman and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of a man disregarded by society is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale. The film follows the transformation of a struggling stand-up comedian to a full-blown criminal force of nature.
The movie stars Robert DeNiro as a talk show host; with Deadpool 2’s Zazie Beetz playing a single mom who catches the interest of the man who will become the clown prince of crime; Marc Maron is the agent responsible for getting the Joker on DeNiro’s talk show, with the film also starring Frances Conroy and Josh Pais.
Joker has an October 4, 2019 release date.
