Quinn Stiller plays Zalatoris’ caddie, and Bad Bunny appears as a busboy.
Creative Team Returns
The original creative team is back. Tim Herlihy, who co-wrote Happy Gilmore, returns to write the sequel. Dennis Dugan, who directed the original, is executive producing. Producers Jack Giarraputo and Robert Simonds also return.
Kyle Newacheck, who previously worked with Sandler on Murder Mystery, directs Happy Gilmore 2.

Reminder: What Happened in the First Film?
In the 1996 film, Happy Gilmore beat Shooter McGavin to win the Tour Championship and saved his grandmother’s house from the IRS. The movie followed the failed hockey player’s unexpected rise through the golf ranks, with help from Chubbs Petersen (Carl Weathers) and his loyal caddy (Allen Covert).
Happy Gilmore 2 picks up decades later. Plot details remain under wraps, but expect a mix of nostalgia, chaos, and over-the-top cameos.
Release Date
