Sony releases the Morbius trailer which transforms Jared Leto into Marvel’s the living vampire.
The official synopsis and cast information have also been released.
The trailer starts out with Michael Morbius as a child who has a rare blood disease and proceeds into the character’s origin. Similar to the comics, Michael uses a vampire bat in an attempt to cure his condition, which seems to work and even gives him super strength; however, things quickly go wrong.
“I went from dying to feeling more alive than ever,” Leto says in the trailer.

One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.
Morbius gets released July 31, 2020 directed by Daniel Espinosa also starring Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, with Tyrese Gibson.
